I am self professed “ghoomer”. I love walking in wild places. Being on foot in the jungle is totally different from being in vehicles or viewing decks. The barriers are removed and all of a sudden, man is a tiny vulnerable speck in the forest. All your senses come alive and you truly feel one with nature. Years of ghooming have honed my senses and improved my knowledge of reading signs and understanding animal behavior. I believe the forest can reward us with deeply emotional experiences when we respect it & become part of it.
