Elephants are amazing, sentient creatures. Watching these three tuskers on a stream bed, I realized they had formed a close knit bachelor group as they often do.The youngest male was in musth and it was obviously a difficult and confusing time for him. It was amazing to watch how the older tuskers handled him with a mix of firmness, affection and understanding. Elephants could teach us a thing or two about empathy!
